Jason McCann, born10/27/74, is a primary songwriter and 'lead' guitarist for Medea. He has been playing the guitar, after initially trying his skills as a bassist, for 7+ years now. His favorite color is blue, and musical influences include: the Cure, U2, Radiohead, Love and Rockets, and Nine Inch Nails, although the list goes on and on. His CD collection numbers somewhere in the vicinity of 300 discs.
Another influence cited is David Lynch, known best for his directing credits such as Twin Peaks, Eraserhead, and the recent Lost Highway. His talents extend beyond filmmaking, as is evidenced by his spoken word cut on the soundtrack to Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. A well rounded, and wickedly intelligent individual.
Jason works in a record store in the Santa Rosa area, which contributes to his large collection of CDs and broad musical reference. He also enjoys video games, bar hopping, and watching South Park. (Oh my God!...) His unofficial nick names are J-dog and MothBoy (don't ask).
